I’m an experienced entrepreneur with a successful background in enterprise communications software and IoT solutions. I have a proven track record of founding, productizing and scaling four successful companies. In 2001, I started Global Capacity, which aggregated large bandwidth providers and enabled them to buy wholesale access and provision services online, which ultimately created the software platform that later evolved into “One Marketplace” an industry standard that remains in the market today. During the same period, I started another company, Net Source Communications with my Co-Founder John Abraham. NetSource Communications Capitalized on regulatory moves by establishing a business that grew to become an award-winning master channel partner for AT&T/SBC in less than two years and positioned the company for successful sale in 2004. Following the sale of Net Source in 2004, Global Capacity was successfully acquired by a publicly traded company in late 2006.
In 2008 I moved to Austin with my family and started a VoIP company called Starview in 2009 which grew to be an award-winning software and VoIP platform; (ITExpo Best of Show Award). The company went from $0 to $14M annual revenue, profitability in 2 years, and ultimately we had a successful sale/spin-off of 2 business units. One of the business units went on to became Shango an API driven platform that enabled communications service providers to rapidly onboard 3rd party applications and IoT services. I served as CEO with Shango from 2011 to March 2016, and I’m now spending my time playing music, mentoring other entrepreneurs and looking for my next exciting opportunity!
