Leandre is an experienced tech exec and advisor. In 2012 Leandre launched Uber in Dallas / Fort Worth and built out the business around the state ultimately serving as the GM of North and West Texas. After spending four years as GM, he moved over and managed External Affairs for Texas and Arkansas and then helped build out Uber’s nextgen Uber Elevate business. Prior to joining Uber, Johns worked in the venture capital and startup space serving as Vice President for a healthcare technology and media portfolio company in Chicago. In addition, he spent three and a half years with PricewaterhouseCoopers while in Chicago consulting in the healthcare and finance sector.

Leandre has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where he majored in Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing. He also has a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Michigan and a BA in Psychology with Honors Distinction from SMU. He is also an active angel investor and enjoys working with ambitious entrepreneurs.
