I founded Sagacious Consultants, a healthcare EHR consulting firm, where we bootstrapped to 275 employees and 300+ contractors, operated in 40+ states and did over $50m in annual revenue until our acquisition in October 2015 by the world’s largest consulting firm, Accenture (NYSE: ACN). I then served the next two years as a Managing Director and Advisor at Accenture to ensure a smooth integration and a continuation of our existing vision.
In addition, I’ve mentored and invested in 60+ startups in the B2B/B2C, SaaS, marketplace and service-based industries via SLĀ Ventures. In 2017, my wife and I launched our private operating foundation, SLĀ Foundation, focusing on helping low-income high school students, and thereby, their communities achieve greatness. In 2018, I cofounded Mason Amelia, a recruiting firm specializing in early-stage startups and Säfik Advsrs, a consulting firm providing founders with the people and processes to scale, analogous to how the suite of SaaS products have enabled technical founders to create products substantially more efficiently and effectively.
