This month we welcome three speakers for our lunchtime lightning talks. We’ll talk about biking, walking, I35, The Americans with Disabilities Act and how that impacts mobility in Austin and more!

Our speakers include:

Martin Kareithi, program manager of accessible services at Capital Metro.

Tom Wald, the executive director of The Red Line Parkway Initiative (RLPI). The Red Line Parkway is a 32-mile trail and transit corridor that will serve Central Texas mobility, recreation, economic, parks, arts, affordability, physical & mental health, and public space needs.

Heyden Walker from Reconnect Austin. Reconnect Austin is a grassroots campaign to bury I-35 through Downtown Austin and reclaim this vital corridor as public space and developable land.
