AR: What’s next after Pokemon Go?
Augmented reality has shown to have a great deal of wow-factor. In the early days of it’s current wave of popularity, even products with relatively simple executions such as furniture placement apps, have garnered much interest. But what’s next for AR?
In this talk, we will share predictions for the future of AR through these angles: 1) Video games 2) Mobility and location-based 3) Social. In doing so, we’ll share a useful toolkit for determining types of AR elements and how can they be used to brainstorm good products.
We will demonstrate examples of PTE’s thought process for our AR products including key lessons learned in the “wow vs difficulty” balance, usability for AR, and the “why factor.”
This session’s focus audience will be: creative and business founders, developers who are interested in a different creative approach to products, and anyone future-focused and interested in the “what’s next” of AR.
