Austin Design Week – Finding Place in My Career as a Designer
Where is my place on the team? Am I the leader? The contributor? The instigator? The answer should be “yes” to all. As the work place changes and the role of the designer transforms from crafter to having a seat at the leaders table; how do designers better understand their role in an ever-changing team environment.
This workshop aims to help designers at all stages of their career better understand their individual and team member attributes and how those attributes can be utilized on their teams to get to great outcomes. Participants will walk away with activities that can be taken back to their workplace and used to further understand their teams.
