In Your Hands is an exclusive provider and guardian of the community blood supply for 39 medical facilities in a ten-county service area of Central Texas. One donation can save the lives of three Central Texans.

Donating blood is easy. Here’s what you need to know to get started.

Before

Check out our list of eligibility requirements and qualifications here. And remember, eat a well-balanced meal prior to donating blood and drink plenty of water or non-caffeinated beverages.

During

Once you arrive, you’ll fill out the necessary paperwork, receive a short physical to ensure you are healthy enough for donation and then, a skilled phlebotomist will begin your donation.

After

After donating blood, we escort our donors to the canteen for cookies, assorted snacks and non-caffeinated beverages. You heard us right, cookies!
