Curious about coding, but don’t know where to begin? HTML & CSS is the perfect place to start. Here you’ll learn the basic building blocks of a website, and how to style them while completing a series of challenges to help you master your new skills.
Together we’ll work through a series of drills that will teach you the core concepts of HTML (tags, elements, and attributes), and the basics of CSS (selectors, properties, and values). All your work will be in a platform that will allow you to bring it home with you and continue to work on it after you leave.

The event will be held at Capitol Factary + The DEC located at 3102 Oak Lawn Ave., The Centrum Building, Dallas, TX 75219. There is a parking garage below, which is $3/hr and it caps out at $12. Capital Factory recommends that guests to visit the coffee shop across the courtyard, Mudsmith, to get a coffee for $2 and they will validate parking. There is also street parking a couple of blocks away.
