How AI is Changing Health Care

There seems to be little doubt that AI is poised to disrupt health care. The questions are how and when. Although AI already is helping to solve problems in health care, typical applications rely on human-created algorithms that machines use to analyze data and provide insights. AI, however, is advancing into “machine learning” and “deep learning” in which computers recognize patterns and expand beyond human capabilities to come up with solutions.

At this summit, two panels will discuss current and future explorations into AI. The first panel, health care executives will discuss ways they are using AI – and plan to use it in the future – to improve operations and patient care. A second panel featuring start-up executives will discuss innovations and AI and what their companies are doing in the health care space.
