Learn to Code Workshop: JavaScript 101
Goal: Write your first lines of JavaScript code. Beginners welcome!
Whether you want to build your own websites or just want to communicate better with developers, this class will get you started!
You’ll leave knowing:
• What the JavaScript language is, why it was created and how it’s used today
• How JavaScript works with web browsers to create interactivity
• Fundamental JavaScript: Syntax, Types, Variables, Keywords and Functions I
Note: Students will need to bring their own laptops! Windows, Mac or Linux will do it! Our preferred web browser is Google Chrome.
