You are invited to Texas Guadaloop’s RACE TO LA: Fundraising Launch Party!

Guadaloop is competing in SpaceX’s Hyperloop Pod Competition II this August. Representing the state of Texas and future Texas Hyperloop routes, they are racing their pod against 20 other teams from around the world.http://www.spacex.com/hyperloop

RACE TO LA is the fundraising event they are throwing to raise money to get their pod to the SpaceX-Hyperloop competition and finalize a Hyperloop test track they’ve begun constructing in Austin. There will be small bites, strong drinks and the entire Guadaloop team attending to answer questions about the Hyperloop competition and how Guadaloop is taking off.

THE VISION:
Guadaloop plans to demonstrate air bearings as a cost effective and energy efficient solution to the Hyperloop. They are using this competition to showcase a technology that has never been used for high speed transportation. This allows the Hyperloop to use air as a fuel source and and change transportation as we know it. Imagine traveling from LA to San Francisco or Austin to Dallas in 30 min. This technology would be used to transport goods and people in any sense; from city transit to Hyperloop (and maybe some Back To The Future hoverboards in a few years).

The Guadaloop team hopes to build a Hyperloop that benefits Texans by connecting the major commuter hubs of San Antonio, Austin, Houston and Dallas. By implementing a Hyperloop connecting these cities, Guadaloop would help in reducing congestion for communters, increasing jobs through construction, building infrastructure that would increase tourism and in turn bring revenue to the state of Texas.
