Innovation is vital to the progress of biotechnology development and commercialization. University resources enable novel research and foster the development of technology in fields ranging from big data to medical sciences; in order to bring these innovations to the market, a number of industry resources are required to enable product accessibility. In this month’s WIB Austin-Area event, panelists from academia (University of Texas at Austin) and industry (product validation, commercialization, patent law) will join us to discuss available technologies and resources in Central Texas that may foster collaborations and partnerships for future product development and implementation. Each of our invited speakers will have 3-5 minutes to share something great and interesting they have to offer the Austin biotech community. Following the 30-45 minute session, attendees will have an opportunity to network with featured panelists while enjoying light refreshments.
