During my 20+ year career, I led the way in building, marketing and delivering world-class software for a wide range of technology startups. I have always found myself riding the leading edge of technology in a number of sectors including mobile, network communications, telecom, online collaboration, web search and social media, breaking new ground such as the first mobile location-based marketing solution for retailers at Digby; the first embeddable social media solutions at Pluck for the media and retail space; the first OEM web search products at Ask.com and the first software-based online collaboration tools at DataBeam (now IBM).
My goal is to help startup companies establish and grow their businesses by unifying product strategy, marketing strategy, software implementation, and sales execution processes into a cohesive, high-powered engine that drives a company’s top and bottom line results.
My expertise grew up out of the product management world, specializing in product strategy, product management process & team development, effective integration between product & development teams, product mix assessment and new product rollouts. Over the course of my career I also led corporate and product marketing functions covering everything from branding, lead generation, marcom, AR and PR. My background also includes development of software services and data center operations teams giving me a cradle-to-grave view of products.
I hold a Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and Bachelor degrees in Information Systems and Marketing from the University of Cincinnati.
