TypeScript is awesome. Read this Medium article if you don’t know that already.

TypeScript is a typed superset of JavaScript that compiles to plain JavaScript, managed by Microsoft – http://www.typescriptlang.org/. Keith Murgic, ReactJS wiz, will teach us what TypeScript is all about, and how useful it is in JavaScript projects. Then we’ll spend time converting a React App to TypeScript so you can see it in action, and try it yourself!

REQUIRED: Bring a laptop for a hands-on project practicing with TypeScript. To make sure we have enough time to get to the project, please be on time.

Participants highly recommended to have JavaScript experience, and familiarity with React would be helpful.
