As an entrepreneur, money is likely to be your biggest concern. Yet, many have little experience in raising funds and managing cash flow. It’s no secret that the most commonly voiced regrets of successful women founders are not about early product challenges, but rather the structure, setup, and capitalization of their business. Many say they wish they had given earlier attention to the cap table, key metrics , managing the board, and avoiding common legal & HR pitfalls.  They wish they had focused earlier on what investors truly needed to see from them, and the ability to create financial projections that are both compelling yet realistic.

In this lunch Roundtable, Patti Soch, serial start-up CFO, will lead us through lessons learned from the trenches and practical tips in setting up and running your business.  Patti draws from her current role at Datical, and her successful exits at Gazzang (acquired by Cloudera) and Phurnace (acquired by BMC), as well as experience as a trusted Advisor and mentor to multiple Austin startups.
