Between AlphaZero’s triumph across Chess, Shogi, and Go through reinforcement learning and Uber’s failure with the first fatality in an autonomous vehicle, artificial intelligence’s rise to prominence has been matched with growing concern around its implementation. While the progress in research and methodology has yielded significant benefits across countless business outcomes in 2018, its potential must be understood in proper context.

Join us the evening of February 28th at the Capital Factory for the 2019 Austin City.AI event as we discuss three critical developing areas for AI in the coming year. There will be three 15 minute presentations on the following topics:

• the transition of A.I. from artificial intelligence to augmented
• the importance of responsible A.I. systems from ethics to explainability
