DARPA × Capital Factory
In August 2024, DARPA named Capital Factory one of just five Regional Commercial Accelerators in the country — and the only one in Texas — to commercialize and scale the early-stage technology the agency funds, turning breakthrough defense research into market-ready, dual-use companies.
The partnership runs deeper than a designation. Capital Factory House hosts DARPA, the Defense Innovation Unit, AFWERX, and NavalX for programming that puts founders, primes, and program managers in the same room — the connective tissue between frontier research and the companies that ship it.
